One word. She had said it on that first day, as a polite conversation starter.
“Hello.” Curious eyes stared up at her, widening at the sight before them. A smile graced the lips of their owner’s young face, the corners of their eyes crinkling from happiness.
“Hello!” the stranger said, their voice light and cheerful. “It’s a pleasure to meet you!”
~*~
Five words. An endless possibility of meanings. A mischievous twinkle in the eye of a young girl was enough to spark an unbreakable friendship.
“Let’s go have some fun!” Two pairs of lips, both curling up in a girlish smile. High-pitched giggles as they chased after each other, dress skirts billowing in the wind.
~*~
Three words. Big, brown eyes filled to the brim with salty tears.
“Are you okay?” There was the shaking of shoulders, and the fluttering open of (color) eyes.
A sleepy grin met a grateful smile. “I’m fine,” the younger girl croaked. “Just catch me next time I jump out of a tree, okay?”
~*~
Two words. Spoken between teammates; spoken between partners.
“Behind you!” An arrow went soaring through the air, hitting its prey in a particularly sensitive spot. The buck fell to the ground, its downfall protruding out of its neck like a monument.
“You got it, Sasha!” cheered the girl who held a rabbit in her grasp. “You’re eatin good tonight!”
A sheepish smile graced the lips of the new huntress.
~*~
Four words. A seemingly endless amount of tears. Two nervous friends with barely-full stomachs.
“We have to go.” The two girls looked at their families, who seemed unfazed by the departure. Each member gave their goodbyes, saying something about keeping their safety, but nothing more.
The friends turned their backs on their home village, approaching the wagon that would lead them to the Trainee Corps.
“I’m gonna miss them, Sasha,” said a quiet voice. The taller girl looked down, a frown etched onto her features.
“We’ll show them, right (Name)? Show them that we can be true soldiers. We’ve got what it takes.”
Never in a million years did Sasha think that she’d be the one to comfort you.
~*~
Six words, exchanged between a hungry girl and one that was almost always starved. Heated glares and pleading glances were exchanged; fists clenched, prepared to fight for to the death.
“Sasha! Get away from my food!” Potato Girl’s eyes widened as the shriek floated to her ears. Yelping, she ran away from the one person whose glare made ice run through her veins.
~*~
One last word. Said from a fallen comrade to her Sister-in-Arms. A forced smile graced her lips, the corners of her eyes crinkling in the same way they had all those years ago.
“Goodbye!” After that, the spark faded from those twinkling (color) eyes. The soldier above her, only recently graduated, choked on her words and tears, both of which were fighting to take control of her.
She wouldn’t say the last word. She couldn’t. That would mean the end. The end of something that had saved her from her own demons.
But as she tried to fight it, the word leaked out of her trembling mouth, one syllable at a time.
“Good…b-bye!”

Unexpected Love Circumstances
Chapter 4: Mixed Surprises
She was magnetic, so magnificent just simply exotic and Mikasa couldn't rip her eyes nor dare to blink at the breath taking performance before her. The woman known as Goldie was upon the stage displaying her erotic expressions making Mikasa's breath cease and the crowd whistle. The short blonde's hands slowly, teasingly roam over her toned body and for a second the fashion designer imagined they were her hands.
In that moment Mikasa's emotions ran wild, piling on top of each other like a dog pile. First she'd feel disgusted with herself for even considering the stripper in a filthy manner especially a woman for th

Year 845: After the Fall
Knees cradled to your chest and head buried in crossed arms, you sat in the furthest, most hidden corner of the dilapidated storage building.
The blood-curdling screams echoed in your mind and the fresh splatter of crimson blood replayed throughout you memory- like a broken record. The events of that day would run smoothly and the music would flow in a beautiful serene melody before inevitably the needle crossed the crack in the record, making your body tense and cringe in disgust and your mind flash with the reminder of pain caused by the titans.
Tears soon followed when the realization had set in of this path in

Mikasa sighed heavily in exhaustion slumping into her work chair, it had been a hectic day at work and the black haired president wasn’t handling it well.
